Since Carl Bechstein founded Bechstein Pianoforte in 1853 in Berlin, the name Bechstein has been synonomous with the finest upright and grand pianos in the world. Bechstein currently manufactures pianos at the highest level in their piano factory in Seifhennersdorf, Saxony.  They still craft each piano with the care and quality of Carl Bechstein while using modern CNC technology to raise the precision of piano-making to an even higher level.
