Customer Reviews

This is a top-notch piano store and I highly recommend a visit to anyone looking to buy a piano. Indeed, it would be well worth a long drive.I visited this summer, and ended up spending three hours at the store trying out grand pianos. Chris and Richard were very kind about explaining everything to me, and also allowing me to try out their pianos at leisure. They have a lot of brands that are comparatively little known in the US, and well worth trying. I got to try Schimmels for the first time -- really fantastic pianos. (My favorite of them, at least on the day I visited, was a Wilhelm Schimmel, which is less expensive than a standard Schimmel -- unfortunately that particular piano had been already sold to another customer and not yet delivered!) I also tried a Bosendorfer 185CS. Oh *wow*... to this day, this remains my favorite piano that I have ever tried. (Above Steinway, Bluthner, Fazioli, Steingraeber, etc. etc.) In the end, I resisted the temptation to double my budget.... but it is less expensive than many of its competitors.Their pricing on new pianos, based on comparison to information I found on the Internet, is good across the board and in some cases extremely good.Pianos are very individual, even within the same brand and model, and the piano I fell in love with (and that was within my budget) ended up being one I found elsewhere. But I would have been delighted to do business with Ruggero if it had been one I'd found there; this store offers great pianos sold at competitive prices by wonderful people. - Frank Thorne
