Allen Herther Piano Music, located inside Ruggero Piano, has been providing printed music to the area since July of 2012. The main focus for the store is to provide piano literature and teaching methods. Allen Herther Music currently stocks items on the NCTMA, RPTA Young Artist, National Federation and Raleigh Area Flute Association competition lists. I contacted Ruggero Piano upon moving from Florida to the RDU area. My prized Yamaha C-6 had been jostled too much by “certified”(?) piano movers in Florida. I was able to secure a service call in very short order; Richard Ruggero himself even came into the phone call to talk me off the proverbial ledge with worry. (I’m a trained concert pianist who has seen many, many piano moves and had never experienced the carelessness of these movers). Hyun Joon did a superb job getting the piano back in shape. He and I discussed the optimum post-move time for an initial tuning in our new home, and I know who to call! .
