I have recently been working with Ruggero Piano to find and acquire a beautiful used baby grand. It has been an experience of counsel, support, sales as a service and value. A quality organization with wonderful instruments.

As a professionally trained musician searching for a high-quality, preowned grand piano, I had a wonderful experience at Ruggero Piano. They have an extensive collection of instruments in great playing condition and an extraordinary team of certified tuners and technicians with a deep knowledge of the instrument. I had a great experience working with Chris, who responded right away to all my questions and helped me select a wonderful instrument that sounds great in our music room. I also benefited from the vast technical knowledge of Richard (the store owner) and Bob (whose in-depth experience helped guide me toward a final decision). Ruggero’s exemplary warranty — which covers a complementary tuning, a year of technical support, and a five-year structural warranty — demonstrates the extent to which they stand behind their work. Their emphasis on high-quality craftsmanship gave me the confidence to purchase a piano from Ruggero. They have my highest recommendation.

Our local piano and digital piano sellers seem to specialize in matching needs with instruments. Zach (or maybe Zak?) listened to my plans and dreams and he matched me to the perfect digital baby grand. I am so pleased with it! It's going to be a little bit of a learning curve, but I'm enjoying every minute of it.

We moved our upright Schimmel cross country in December. I had Jay tune it and he found some damage that I didn't initially see as a result from the move. It also sounds great! Thanks Jay! Anyway, I scheduled a repair with their shop and the end result is nearly perfect. I'm very happy with Ruggero's work and will definitely call them up if I ever need their services again.

This is quite obviously the best piano store in the region. I spent a long time shopping for my used piano, and that included a number of stores, used options from online listings, etc. And every time I came to Ruggero, I was on better quality pianos at the same prices as lower quality ones elsewhere. They have all these piano techs on site, doing deep master work on any pianos that need it. And they'll talk to you about all the details--great for me as I'm a stickler for every last bit of quality (especially in playability and action) and want to know the ins and outs. I ended up buying both a great digital (Yamaha P-525) for nighttime and my first baby grand (a Yamaha GB1K from 2019). I love it, and it's in such fantastic technical shape from Ruggero techs. I also asked an independent local piano tech his opinion of Ruggero and others, and he told me I could totally trust any and all of their piano techs' work, as they stand behind their used pianos. I even had an issue in my own life where I suddenly needed flexibility after I'd purchased but hadn't had it delivered, and they were flexible, helpful and downright encouraging on a personal level! I always felt welcome in the store. I had confidence buying with their trade-in program too, as I believe this piano store will stand the test of time for when I upgrade later, since they're running a service business as well as sales. This team is the best. After moving our Yamaha grand piano across the country, we were shocked when the moving blankets were removed and it was damaged in several areas. I thought no one could repair the black piano gloss finish. These guys proved me wrong. It looks brand new! So happy with the results! Thank you! Great customer service and top quality work!
